Drones of Unknown Model Attack Oil Refinery in Dagestan

Strike drones successfully attacked the Dagnefteprodukt oil refinery in the city of Makhachkala, located in the Republic of Dagestan.

The successful strike on the refinery took place on the morning of October 22. Local residents captured the moment of impact on one of the refinery’s components.

In addition, the attack on the refinery was also confirmed by the official authorities of the republic, who noted: “An attack by enemy drones was carried out on the territory of Dagestan. One of the republic’s enterprises was targeted.”

Dagnefteprodukt is situated on an area of 32 hectares, with a total tank farm capacity exceeding 140,000 m³. The refinery’s total design capacity is 1 million tons per year, although actual output may vary from year to year.

The refinery itself is located about 860 km from the Ukrainian state border and over 1,000 km from territory controlled by Ukraine.

Militarnyi previously reported that the oil refinery in Novokuybyshevsk completely ceased operations after another attack by Ukrainian drones.
