German companies ARX Robotics and DEUTZ have produced GEREON unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) that will be delivered to Ukraine.
ARX Robotics shared with Militarnyi that the vehicles were assembled at the DEUTZ plant in Ulm just 12 weeks after the companies announced the start of joint production.
“The systems are intended for Ukraine’s Defense Forces and will expand the fleet of GEREON UGVs already deployed in Ukraine,” the company shared.
In 2025, German company ARX Robotics received a large order to supply GEREON UGVs to Ukraine.
The company plans to supply Ukraine with hundreds of GEREON UGVs.
The company has also moved part of its production to Ukraine.
Local suppliers are also being involved in production, accelerating deliveries and contributing to the development of Ukraine’s defense industry.
The GEREON UGV can carry various payloads and combat payloads weighing up to 500 kilograms over distances up to 40 kilometers.
Technical specifications:
The UGV has also been adapted to carry the LOKI remotely operated weapon station manufactured by Valhalla Turrets.
All vehicles are integrated into a single network through the Mithra OS operating system, which incorporates AI elements.
This enables the vehicles to coordinate their actions, respond quickly to threats, and be operated effectively.
