U&C UAS—a Czech company founded by the co-owners of DeViRo, one of Ukraine’s largest drone manufacturers—has signed a contract to supply reconnaissance drones to the US Army in Europe.

The company U&C UAS announced this in a press release.

As the company noted, the agreement aims to strengthen the defense capabilities of allies and enhance security on the European continent, where the deployment of modern unmanned systems is becoming a critically important element of deterrence and protection.

In partnership with ATP Gov, a US government contractor, U&C will supply reconnaissance UAVs to bolster the protection of US military bases on the European continent.

It is noted that the agreement was concluded following an evaluation of the drones during military exercises that simulated modern high-intensity conflict scenarios. The system demonstrated high reliability, operational effectiveness, and the ability to perform effectively in conditions approximating real combat operations.

“Our valued customer highly appreciated our ability to provide critical ISR capabilities, ensuring sustained surveillance and real-time data transmission to significantly enhance situational awareness. “Our UAS system is a versatile reconnaissance tool and a reliable solution capable of meeting the stringent requirements of modern military missions,” said David Jirman, Commercial Director of U&C UAS.

In February 2026, it was announced that U&C UAS had signed a contract to supply UAVs to India, with the prospect of technology transfer and the establishment of joint production. The agreement to supply drones was signed with TUNGA Aerospace Industries Private Limited — an innovative aerospace company from India.

U&C UAS’s connection to DeViRo

The Czech company U&C UAS was founded in July 2022 by the co-owners of the Ukrainian company DeViRo, which has been developing and manufacturing military-grade drones since 2014.

DeViRo is best known for its line of Leleka reconnaissance drones, which are among the most widely used Ukrainian reconnaissance drones in their class, as well as its Bulava loitering munitions.

In 2024, the company launched serial production in the Czech city of Kolín and planned to produce about a hundred reconnaissance and strike drones per year at the Czech facility.

“Right now, delivering unmanned systems from the Czech Republic to Ukraine is an absolute priority. In the future, we intend to capture a decisive share of the Central European market in the medium-sized drone category and supply products to the armed forces of NATO countries and other states,” said former European Commissioner Štefan Füle, a member of UAC’s leadership, at the time.

U&C UAS has established production of STORK LR reconnaissance drones and the MACE strike drones. In a comment to Militarnyi in 2023, the company reported that the STORK LR would be manufactured in the EU. Ukraine will conduct UAV testing, maintenance, and operator training.
