On October 7, Belarus’s Ministry of Defence launched a four-day mobilization readiness exercise.

The information was shared on the ministry’s official website.

The Ministry emphasized that these are annual drills, scheduled to run until October 10, and are being led by the heads of regional executive committees.

“The exercises aim to improve the coordination of actions among local government officials and organizations during the formation of territorial troops and people’s militia units,” the Ministry stated.

As part of these exercises, both theoretical and practical activities will take place across all districts of Belarus.

It is stated that special attention will be given to the training of officials from executive committees, military commissariats, organizations, as well as reserve military personnel, in matters related to the formation of territorial troops.

At the beginning of September, as part of the CSTO exercises “Echelon-2025,” the use of railway transport for medical evacuation was practiced. For this purpose, military sanitary air units – mobile medical units for transporting the wounded and sick over long distances – were deployed.
