Drone operators of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade destroyed enemy infantry using drones with ammunition.
The video of the Russian military destruction was posted on the Ukrainian Navy’s official Facebook page.
The interception of the enemy infantry convoy took place during their attempt to assault the 36th Marine Brigade’s position, which is holding the line in the Kursk region.
Thanks to the use of drones with a thermal imaging channel, the enemy was successfully detected, escorted, and monitored.
Since the Marines’ drones mostly observed the movement of individual groups of enemy infantry, the enemy was likely trying to use small infantry group tactics to get closer to the Marines’ positions.
Nevertheless, drones were sent into the air to throw explosive munitions at the enemy, killing those who tried to hide in the forest or the homes.
The 36th Separate Marine Brigade is currently operating near the village of Zelenyi Shlyakh in the Kursk region, where the marines have set up fortified positions and continue to hold the line.
Recently, the brigade, together with the 1st Tank Brigade, successfully fought off a mechanized assault by Russians. Thanks to the effective mining organized by the 1st Brigade’s troops, two of the enemy’s three infantry fighting vehicles exploded on mines.
The third combat vehicle was destroyed by a shot from the American Javelin anti-tank system, which the Marines used after the Russian infantry landed.
Militarnyi previously reported that the 36th Separate Marine Brigade repelled an enemy assault consisting of motorized and automotive vehicles in the Kursk region.
The Russian military attempted to break through to the positions of the Defense Forces in two waves. The first consisted of three ATVs and the second of two motorcycles and a car.
As a result, the enemy stopped the assault and tried to return to their positions but failed.
