Soldiers of the 46th Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled another enemy attempt to seize positions in the Kurakhove sector.

The video of the repulsion of the assault was published by the press service of the 46th Airmobile Brigade.

The enemy made another attempt to attack the positions of Ukrainian paratroopers and brought in a significant amount of military equipment.

Among the wheeled and tracked vehicles, there were also improvised vehicles with improved protection and increased body capacity for transporting military personnel.

In addition, the enemy failed to conduct minimal engineering reconnaissance, which is why some of the combat vehicles were destroyed by mines and abandoned by their crews.

In total, the paratroopers destroyed 13 units of Russian equipment using minefields, artillery fire, ATGMs and FPV drones.

The situation was similar with the military personnel, who were killed by paratroopers while being transported on armor, and also pursued after they left the combat vehicles.

Individual searches were also carried out for Russian soldiers who, after the destruction of the equipment, tried to hide in the nearest forest belt and broken buildings.

Recently, the Russian troops have begun to use civilian vehicles more actively for assault operations, which are being modernized in field workshops to expand airborne units and improve protection.

Militarnyi previously reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had hit a Russian IFV, which had been converted into an APC.

Mainly, the squad compartment was expanded on the IFV to accommodate more troops.

In addition, the gun turret was removed from the vehicle, allowing for an increase in the height of the sides and the inclusion of view slits.
