A tank of the 58th Motorized Brigade repelled an enemy attempt to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops.

The press service of the 58th Motorized Brigade published the video of the Russian assault repulsion.

The incident took place on the outskirts of the village of Urozhaine, where Russian troops attempted to seize the 58th Brigade’s defensive positions.

To organize the assault, the Russian troops allocated three units of armored vehicles, namely two infantry fighting vehicles and one tank.

After the enemy started moving towards the positions of Ukrainian defenders, the unit’s aerial reconnaissance managed to detect the enemy in time and prepare for defense.

To repel the assault, the soldiers of the 58th Motorized Brigade sent a T-80 tank, which promptly moved to the position to fire on the enemy.

Thus, the first target was an enemy tank moving ahead of the convoy. A well-aimed shot destroyed the tank, causing the ammunition to detonate.

After this loss, two IFVs following the tank with infantry inside started to turn around and flee toward their positions.

The assault was repelled on the southern outskirts of the village of Urozhaine, Donetsk region, at coordinates 47.737188, 36.824241.

It should be noted that the brigade has been holding the line in this area for a relatively long time and has managed to repel a large number of enemy attacks.

Militarnyi previously reported that soldiers of the 58th Motorized Brigade, the Separate Presidential Brigade, and the 762nd State Special Transport Service Guard Brigade managed to destroy 32 units of enemy equipment.

The destroyed equipment includes tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, and tracked tractors.
