Ukrainian experts have developed a PARASOL trench electronic warfare system.
Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation, reported that a participant in the Brave1 cluster presented the EW system.
The developer created two modifications of the system: one protects positions against Russian drones, and the other protects the equipment.
“One of the key advantages of PARASOL is that it is invisible to enemy EW systems,” Mykhailo Fedorov shared.
The first version, PARASOL 01, protects military positions and jams Russian FPV drones at a distance of 200 meters.
The second version, PARASOL 02, protects the equipment, as it can be installed and connected to the onboard power network of the vehicle.
The PARASОL 02 system jams the drones at a distance of 200 meters.
“It is extremely easy to operate. You can learn how to use it in 10-15 minutes,” the Minister said.
The state has already concluded contracts with the developer MixSteele to purchase two modifications of PARASOL, and the Defense Forces are actively using them.
“Before the full-scale war, Ukraine had no short-range EW systems,” Mykhailo Fedorov noted.
Thanks to the systematic work of the Brave1 cluster, this area started to develop, and today, there are already dozens of technological solutions that the state can buy for the front.
“Today, more than 100 developments are Brave1 registered on the platform, and 9 of them have already been codified according to NATO standards. And there will be more of them,” the Minister added.
