The Foundation of the American philanthropist Dell Loy Hansen and the Kyiv Regional Military Administration began collaboration on developing the concept of a modern rehabilitation center for Ukrainian military personnel and civilians.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

“Starting next week, we will begin a detailed analysis of all the documentation. We involve an international coalition of architects and civil engineers (i.e. specialized in healthcare buildings’ construction). The institution will become the standard for future rehabilitation centers both in Ukraine and in other countries of the world affected by the war,” stated the Head of Administration.

This modern center will meet both the physical and psychological needs of military personnel and civilians.

“The project requires considerable investment. Therefore, to implement it, it is necessary to involve philanthropists, governmental and non-governmental organizations under the leadership of the Hansen Mission in Ukraine Foundation. The foundation and its founder Dell Loy Hansen are reliable and financially responsible partners,” the administration representative added.

Recently, Militarnyi reported that Ukroboronprom has created a Center for the Reintegration of Veterans, which will employ, organize training, retraining, provide physical and psychological rehabilitation services.

The work will focus on the comprehensive support and adaptation of veterans to civilian life.

Psychological and physical recovery programs are also provided.

A patronage direction will be created that will interact with mobilized workers and their families.

The Center will provide them with information and consulting, legal, psychological and other support through its own resources and partnership with government agencies and public organizations.

Particular attention will be paid to the inclusivity of workplaces, improving mutual understanding, and creating a proper corporate culture.

To do this, the Veterans Center will work with teams where former military personnel come, Ukroboronprom noted.
