The Russians lost three modern T-90M Proryv tanks in one battle in the Lyman sector.
The invaders tried to break through the positions of the 60th Mechanized Brigade with armored vehicles and infantry.
The Russian invaders used tanks, armored personnel carriers, and off-road vehicles with infantry to attack. The attacks took place in three waves.
Immediately at the beginning of the battle, the Ukrainian military managed to disable the T-90M, which was supposed to fire at the forefront of the attack.
After that, it and another infantry fighting vehicle were hit by FPV drones.
Ukrainian troops neutralized three T-90M Proryv tanks in the area. Some of them hit a mine and lost the ability to move.
FPV drones were then finishing off modern Russian tanks. The soldiers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine also participated in the incident.
A failed assault for the Russians took place in the Donetsk region near the village of Yampolivka.
The T-90M Proryv tank is a modernization of the export-oriented T-90S version, which was introduced in 2011.
The Russian military received the first batch of T-90M tanks only in 2020.
As previously reported, the Russian military used Chinese-made Desertcross golf carts to storm Ukrainian positions.
A Russian convoy of four golf carts was neutralized on the approach with cluster munitions. Due to the lack of any protection, the infantry in it was hit by the wreckage.
