The Ukrainian military showed launches of ATACMS ballistic missiles at Russian targets.

The video showcasing launches was published by the Office of Strategic Communications of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Most likely, these launches were made in the autumn, in October 2023, when Ukrainian gunners were targeting Russian airfields and air defense positions.

Recall that the first official use of ATACMS during the Russian-Ukrainian war took place on October 17, 2023, during the Dragonfly Operation by the Special Operations Forces.

Then the Armed Forces attacked the airports near Berdyansk and Luhansk, and then the Russian army aviation suffered heavy losses, in particular in helicopters Ka-52 and Mi-8/17.

Militarnyi described the consequences of strikes on each of the airports. For example, in Luhansk, three Ka-52 helicopters remained without blades, and also reported debris that may belong to a helicopter of an unknown type.

In addition, the video captured a concrete surface of the airfield that showed signs of the detonation of bomblets, and a Pantsir anti-aircraft missile system in an unknown technical condition.

Five damaged Ka-52 and four Mi-8/17 helicopters can be seen at the airport in Berdyansk.

Moreover, three more visually intact helicopters (presumably Mi-8) that were not evacuated remained at the airfield. It can be assumed that they couldn’t leave the airfield due to malfunctions caused by debris damage.

Later, on October 26, 2023, information appeared that Ukrainian ATACMS could hit elements of the S-400 SAM in the Luhansk region.

It is reported that the fire damage was inflicted on an object of the Russian Armed Forces near the village of Bilorichensk, Luhansk region.

Near the same village, locals found two motors from ATACMS missiles, which may indicate the successful opening of a container with a cluster warhead.
