The representative of the People’s Republic of China to the United Nations called on the United States to stop transferring military aid to Ukraine.

This was reported by Newsweek.

China’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Zhang Jun, stated that the United States should stop further support for Ukraine with weapons in order for diplomatic routes to start working.

In his opinion, some countries should stop providing Ukraine with military equipment and missiles to allow peace talks with the Russian Federation.

Although China officially does not support a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, it tries to justify aggression and financially support the Russian Federation in various ways .

As of today, the Chinese government calls for the implementation of the new Minsk agreement, concluded between Russia and Ukraine in 2014, ignoring Russia’s aggressive policy. In addition, Zhang Jun noted that NATO’s policy is aimed primarily at supporting the war in Ukraine and not its resolution.

NATO must adhere to dialogue and consultation in resolving disputes and to the general direction of political settlement, instead of engaging in pressure, smearing, and unilateral sanctions, and even less in the use of force, Zhang Jun added.

Despite such loud statements, the representative of China silenced the reasons for a similar but more radical expansion of the Chinese presence in the Indo-Pacific region, which involves creating a large number of artificial military islands in neutral waters.

In addition, he also did not provide an explanation for the direct threats to Taiwan, which China seeks to capture.

As Militarnyi reported, China’s supplies of high-tech machines to Russia increased tenfold after the start of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

China has ten times increased the supply of vital numerical control machines for the Russian industry, which allow for extremely accurate milling of metal.
