Elements of the Pantsir SAM missiles fall on the resident houses in Belgorod

The zero stage motor of a Russian 57E6 guided surface-to-air missile of the Pantsir SAM pierced the roof of a private house and flew into a children’s room in Belgorod.

A local Telegram channel released the video of the incident.

It is known that the motor separates about 2.6 seconds after launch, giving the missile its initial velocity.

This indicates that the Pantsir SAM was located in close proximity to residential areas of the city.

The fall of the zero stage motor of a Russian 57E6 guided surface-to-air missile on residential buildings due to the negligence of Russian air defense forces is routine for the civilian population of Belgorod.

A local Telegram channel published a photo of a rocket booster that recently fell in the yard of a private house, breaking through paving slabs.

The 57E6 missile’s launch engine weighs 18.5 kilograms. Such an object can significantly damage or even destroy any building if it falls on it.

Militarnyi has repeatedly reported on the Pantsir SAM deployment in close proximity to civilian objects in Russia.

For example, in February 2022, the Russians placed a system near a kindergarten in Voronezh.

Later, on January 19, 2023, it was reported that the systems were placed on the roofs of civilian administrative buildings, including educational ones, in Moscow.

At the same time, the Pantsir-S1 medium-range surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery systems were spotted on the building of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. It was installed on the helipad.

The placement of these systems in urban areas puts the lives and health of civilians at risk, as they may be hit by missile elements.
