In the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian artillery struck the tank convoy of the invaders.

One of the Russian convoy with tanks came under attack near the occupied village of Robotyne.

The strikes were carried out by the 44th Artillery Brigade with the support of reconnaissance unit of the 65th Mechanized Brigade.

As a result of the strikes, the Russian T-80BV main battle tank was destroyed, on the turret of which the Russians installed a slat armour.

Also, Ukrainian 155mm artillery is involved in knocking out forestations of the invaders in the Zaporizhzhia region.

“Fresh video from the Zaporizhzhia direction, right here, fresh from the oven. First, they dig in when landing. Then they run there, they run here,” said volunteer Yuriy Biriukov, who released the video.

In this direction, the invaders are redeploying and strengthening the positions where a breakthrough from the Ukrainian side is expected.

Concerning the Zaporozhzhia direction, the Russians are in active defense.

For example, near the Novopavlivsk, the enemy is trying to prevent the advance of Ukrainian units.

In some places, the enemy is trying to regain lost positions. The Russians use reserves to strengthen their defenses.

Recently, Ukrainian forces have liberated a number of settlements at the junction of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.

On June 11, it became known that the Armed Forces liberated the villages of Blahodatne, Neskuchne, and Makarivka near the border of Donetsk region and Zaporizhzhia region.
