Since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the United States has provided Ukraine with armaments worth $4.6 billion.

This was reported by the US Embassy in Ukraine.

It was noted that US President Joe Biden has already announced 11 tranches of military assistance.

“Each aid package contains what Ukrainians need to protect their country,” stressed the Embassy.

It was noted that Ukraine received the following military assistance:

• 220 thousand artillery rounds;
• 50 million rounds for ammunition;
• 25 thousand sets of body armor and helmets;
• 108 howitzers;
• 26,500 Javelin and other ATGMs;
• 1 400 Stinger MANPADS;
• highly mobile artillery missile systems;
• hundreds of armored multipurpose vehicles;
• UAVs;
• USVs;
• counter-artillery, counter-mortar and air surveillance radars.

Yesterday, the Pentagon reported that providing Ukraine with several launchers of HIMARS missile systems in the latest transfer of defense assistance was only a starting point.

The United States will continue providing everything necessary to resist Russian aggression.

“We have carried out the “initial” transfer of HIMARS systems, and while we are talking right now, Ukrainians are completing their training (on mastering these systems – ed.),” – said the Pentagon representative.

Under Secretary also confirmed the commitment of the United States to continue the supply of these systems and ammunition to Ukraine.

Additionally, Hanna Maliar, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine mentioned that Ukraine has now received 10% of the weapons necessary for effective defense against the invaders.

“The armament capabilities and the number of servicemen in Russia significantly outweigh. Whatever efforts Ukraine conducts now, no matter how professional our army is, without the help of Western partners, we will not be able to win this war… From the claimed list of what Ukraine needed, today we have about 10%,” – said Maliar.

She also stated that the Russian Federation is trying in every possible way to block the supply of weapons to Ukraine, disrupting such agreements or interfering with the transit of weapons through other countries, using its wide agency networks.

It should be noted that the meeting of the “Ramstein-3” working group will be held in Brussels on June 15, where the issue of providing assistance to Ukraine will be resolved for the third time.

At the previous meeting, the transfer of the Harpoon anti-ship missiles to Ukraine from Denmark was announced. It is also reported that the Czech Republic will hand over attack helicopters, tanks, and missile systems to Ukraine.
