US President Donald Trump promised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to collaborate on finding additional Patriot air defense systems for Ukraine.

This was reported by the White House following a conversation between the US and Ukrainian presidents, as reported by European Pravda.

According to the White House, during the phone call, the leaders agreed that Ukraine and America will continue to work together to achieve a real end to the war, and that under Trump’s leadership, a lasting peace can be achieved.

It was also noted that Zelensky requested additional air defense systems to protect civilians, specifically asking for Patriot systems.

President Trump agreed to cooperate with him to locate available systems, particularly in Europe, the White House stated, according to the European Pravda.

Trump also provided Zelensky with a full briefing on his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“They discussed the situation in the Kursk region and agreed to maintain close communication between their defense agencies as the battlefield situation evolves,” the White House added.

Trump described his conversation with Zelensky as “very good” and mentioned that a significant portion of their discussion was based on his prior talks with Putin, aimed at coordinating Russia and Ukraine’s requests and needs.

Zelensky added that they agreed to discuss the technical details of a partial ceasefire, including refraining from striking energy and civilian infrastructure.

In February, it was announced that Ukrainian Patriot batteries would be receiving a D-PICC information and coordination center to enhance their integration with other air defense systems.

D-PICC is a remote information and coordination center that facilitates coordination of anti-aircraft systems at the battalion level, receiving data about the air situation and coordinating operational actions.

A unique feature of this system is its ability to be deployed in the field at significant distances from air defense batteries, making it highly flexible for use.
