The Ukrainian-German defense joint venture Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI) has ramped up production to 35 Linza 3.0 drones per day.
Matthias Lehna, Vice President of Quantum Systems and Managing Director of QFI, revealed this during a podcast interview with Militarnyi.
He said the company’s production capabilities in Germany have been steadily expanding since it received an export license in mid-February.
The Linza 3.0 drones are produced exclusively for the Ukrainian Defense Forces, with current daily output reaching 35 units.
“We currently employ 105 people and plan to hire more in order to fulfill the full volume of contracts we are committed to delivering,” Lehna said.
The first batches of serially produced Linza 3.0 drones have already been delivered to Ukraine. They are currently being used to train military personnel and will soon be deployed in combat operations on the front line.
The Linza 3.0 drones were developed by the Ukrainian company Frontline Robotics. The drones from the initial batches sent to Ukraine are equipped with an AI-based visual-inertial navigation module, as well as a gyro-stabilized day/night camera featuring digital and hybrid zoom.
The Linza 3.0 has a 12-inch frame and can carry up to 4 kg of payload over distances of up to 15 km, while remaining airborne for up to 60 minutes.
The drones also feature their own communication channel, ensuring stable operation even in electronic warfare (EW) environments.
Quantum Frontline Industries plans to manufacture at least 10,000 Ukrainian-designed drones for the Ukrainian Defense Forces over the next year at its production facilities in Germany.
Meanwhile, Frontline Robotics will provide warranty maintenance and servicing for the drones in Ukraine.
In April, the Ukrainian company unveiled the new Zoom 3.0 reconnaissance drone, designed to operate effectively in conditions of intense electronic warfare (EW).
