Ukraine to Share Technologies With Countries Participating in ‘Guarantee Forces’ Initiative

The activities of the ‘Guarantee Forces’ in Ukraine will also include training for Ukrainian troops and the exchange of technologies.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi stated this during a press conference following the Coalition of the Decisive summit in Paris on March 27, as reported by European Pravda.

According to the President, the mission of the contingent being prepared by the Coalition of the Decisive will focus not only on providing security guarantees but also on strategic deployments in key locations.

“But there is also training, education, production, co-production, and licenses from our partners… allowing us to produce this (foreign military equipment, ed.) in Ukraine. It’s faster and more cost-effective, to be honest,” he added.

The President also highlighted technology exchange as an important aspect of cooperation with the participants of the ‘Guarantee Forces.’

“Our technologies, the developments we’ve made during this war, such as those related to drones, missiles, and air defense – we will share these developments with the partner countries that guarantee our security with their contingents,” Zelenskyi noted.

The so-called Coalition of the Decisive, led by France and the United Kingdom, has been working for several weeks on a plan to send thousands of troops to Ukraine to ensure a future “ceasefire.”

On Thursday, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that the foreign ministers of Ukraine’s allied countries would prepare legal positions regarding the monitoring of a ceasefire in Ukraine.

According to sources speaking to The Times, the final number of peacekeeping troops for Ukraine will “certainly exceed 10,000 people,” which the United Kingdom is prepared to provide.

Additionally, at a meeting in London on Saturday, the UK managed to secure support from “a significantly larger number” of countries than the three that had previously supported sending ground troops.

Overall, around 35 countries at Saturday’s meeting agreed to provide weapons, logistical, and intelligence support for the potential “peacekeeping” mission.

“It will involve a substantial force, with many countries contributing troops, along with a much larger group offering support in other ways,” another source shared with The Times.
