Ukraine’s Defense Forces report destruction of 18 Russian naval vessels

During the full-scale invasion, the defense forces of Ukraine destroyed 18 ships and boats of the Russian Navy.

Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced this.

“According to all reports, we saw that 18 ships and boats were destroyed by the Defense Forces of Ukraine. These are not only ships and boats destroyed by the Navy, but also ships destroyed by the Ground Forces and other units,” Neizhpapa said.

As for amphibious logistics, one large amphibious ship was sunk in Berdyansk by the Ground Forces, two ships were damaged (they are still being repaired).

According to Neizhpapa, the Navy destroyed one Serna-class landing craft and several Raptor-class boats, which the invaders used for operations to seize Snake Island.

“The rest of the ships are now in ports controlled by the Russian Federation,” Neizhpapa added.

According to Oryx defense analysts, 11 ships and boats of the Russian fleet were destroyed during the war.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces used various methods and weapons to destroy Russian ships.

The Moskva missile cruiser was destroyed by two Neptune missiles.

Russian boats were struck by Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 drones.
