Drones Attack DNS Warehouse for the First Time, Also Strike Ozon in Rostov Region

Strike drones of the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the DNS and Ozon warehouse complexes in the Rostov region.

This is the first attack on the warehouses of DNS, one of Russia’s largest retailers of digital and household appliances.

After the strike, local residents filmed heavy smoke rising from the warehouse complex several kilometers away.

Aksay is home to the Southern Region hub, which serves a significant portion of Russia.

DNS is one of the three largest retailers of technology, electronics, and household goods in Russia.

In terms of online sales in Russia, it typically ranks fourth, trailing only behind general-purpose marketplaces such as Wildberries, Ozon, and Yandex Market.

Since most of the world’s tech giants—Apple, Samsung, Intel, and Asus—have officially left the Russian market, DNS has become one of the main platforms flooding the Russian market with contraband and ‘gray market’ products from China through so-called parallel import schemes.

In addition, Ozon’s warehouse complex was targeted. However, due to the absence of heavy smoke and, according to an official statement from the company’s press service, the drone strike caused a small fire that was contained.

As a result of the attack, operations at this complex were temporarily suspended.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported that on August 27, 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked two logistics complexes belonging to the Russian marketplace Ozon—one in Orenburg and one near Ufa.

This high frequency of attacks on the company’s warehouses is linked to the fact that from August 2025 through July 2026 alone, users of the Russian marketplace Ozon ordered dual-use and military goods worth over $292 million.
