Ukrainian drones attacked two logistics facilities of the Russian marketplace Ozon on August 27 — in Orenburg and near Ufa.
The company’s press service reported this.
According to Ozon, all employees were promptly evacuated from the facilities. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.
The logistics facility in Orenburg has resumed operations, but FBS shipments will be accepted on a limited basis for one day.
The marketplace said the facility near Ufa, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, sustained minor damage and was temporarily closed for a site inspection.
Most likely, this refers to a warehouse facility located in the city of Blagoveshchensk, about 40 kilometers from the regional capital.
The facility has suspended the acceptance of deliveries from sellers, while shipments in transit are being redirected to other logistics hubs.
The monitoring outlet Exilenova+ published footage showing smoke from a fire near Ufa. It suggested that an Ozon logistics facility may be on fire. At the same time, the Russian company said that customers could place orders as usual.
On August 22, Ukrainian Defense Forces’ drones attacked an Ozon logistics facility in Chapayevsk for the first time, causing fire at the facility.
The following morning, drones struck a warehouse in Orenburg. It became the company’s largest logistics hub in Russia to be attacked, with an area of more than 200,000 square meters.
On the night of August 24, Ukrainian Defense Forces struck three Ozon logistics centers in Dagestan, Stavropol Krai, and Adygea, with a combined area of more than 314,700 square meters.
The largest was the logistics center in the settlement of Tyube, Dagestan, covering about 130,000 square meters. The second-largest was the warehouse in Nevinnomyssk, covering 93,500 square meters, followed by the facility near the settlement of Enem in Adygea, at 91,200 square meters. The strikes sparked large-scale fires at the facilities.
