Two Polish special forces soldiers were killed during nighttime parachute training in the United States.

The deaths were reported by the Polish General Command.

They noted that the incident had occurred on September 19th, 2025. A commission is currently working on the scene to determine the causes of the tragedy.

“It is with deep regret that we inform you that on September 19th, 2025, a tragic accident occurred during nighttime parachute training in the United States, which resulted in the deaths of two special forces’ soldiers,” the General Command of the Armed Forces on Platform X said in a statement.

It should be noted that Polish special forces are regularly trained in the United States as part of military cooperation between the two countries, and nighttime parachute training is an important part of their professional training.

In addition, fatal incidents during training are quite common. For example, in March 2025, during NATO exercises in Lithuania, an M88A2 Hercules UUV carrying four American servicemen sank in a swamp near the Belarusian border.

After six days of search and rescue, the bodies of all four soldiers were recovered.
