The trophy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine became the BAT-2 CEV of the Russian invaders

The military of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv Region captured the Russian BAT-2 combat engineering vehicle (CEV).

A video with captured engineering equipment was published on Telegram channels.

Judging by the footage, the BAT-2 CEV fell into the hands of our military in operational condition.

The Russians lost their equipment during the offensive of Ukrainian forces in the Kharkiv Region. Fighters of the Defense Forces liberate the region from the invaders.

BAT-2 is a combat engineering vehicle designed to mechanize engineering works when laying column tracks, preparing and equipping unit positions in combat areas.

Combat engineering vehicle is designed for:

• moving the soil during the arrangement of transitions through ravines and ditches;
• arrangement of descents to crossings;
• clearing the route of movement from shrubs, trees, stumps, snow and stones;
• arrangement of passages in blockages, in forests and settlements;
• laying blocks of road-bridge structures;
• digging pits during self-digging;
• arrangement of passes on the ground with radioactive contamination.

The main parts of the CEV are the basic machine (product 454 or MT-T) and working equipment.

The working equipment includes bulldozer, loosening and crane equipment, power take-off mechanism, hydraulic drive and electrical equipment.

The vehicle is used not only for military purposes, but also to help civilian citizens during emergencies or natural disasters.

During the offensive in the Kharkiv Region, fighters of the Defense Forces capture various enemy military equipment.

The trophies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military branches that liberate Ukrainian land from the Russian invaders were the main battle tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers and various self-propelled and towed artillery systems.
