The Defense Forces of Ukraine to introduce the Delta system

The government has decided to implement the Delta system in the Defence Forces.

The corresponding resolution was adopted at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on February 4.

It is noted that the resolution was made on the proposal of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov.

The Delta situational awareness platform was created by the Center for Innovation and Development of Defense Technologies of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“The Center is constantly improving the Delta platform and adding new functionality, which gives our military a significant advantage over the enemy,” the report says.

In addition to the use of the platform by the military, the Government allowed the system to be placed in the cloud outside of Ukraine.

“This will protect the system from missile and cyber attacks of the enemy,” the government officials emphasized.

Delta provides a voluminous understanding of the combat space in real time, integrates information about the enemy from a variety of sensors and sources, including intelligence, on a digital map, and can work on any device, such as laptop, tablet or mobile phone without additional settings.

It is enough to have the Internet connection, log in and use a digital map. The system collects data from dozens of sources: drone reconnaissance, satellite imagery, radio interference, etc.

Yaroslav Honcharov, co-founder of Aerorozvidka, has recently spoken about the features of this system on Militarnyi YouTube channel.

Delta has made more than 30 releases since the start of the full-scale invasion. The product is constantly upgraded – new functions appear, the interface is improved, new sources of information are integrated.

The total number of users has not been disclosed, yet the developers assure that “it is growing with geometric progression”. Since February 24, the demand for the latest information at the front has become colossal.
