TAF Industries Signs Memorandum With Denmark’s Upteko to Jointly Produce Drones

The Ukrainian company TAF Industries and the Danish Upteko have signed a memorandum that establishes a strategic framework for industrial cooperation between the two enterprises, focused on the development and production of drones.

The company announced this in a press release.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of DALO Industry Days, Scandinavia’s largest defense exhibition, which is taking place in Denmark.

TAF Industries was represented at the ceremony by the company’s CEO, Volodymyr Zinovskyi. Upteko’s founder, Benjamin Meinertz, signed the document on behalf of the company.

The event was also attended by Chief of Defence of Denmark General Michael Wiggers Hyldgaard, Lieutenant General Per Pugholm Olsen, head of the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO), as well as representatives of Denmark’s defense industry and international partners.

Under the agreement, the parties intend to expand their production capacity for FPV drones, jointly develop relevant technologies, and diversify their supply chains.

This should make them less dependent on individual suppliers and increase the overall production resilience.

Starting in early 2027, the joint production is expected to enable the manufacture of thousands of drones each month. The project will be implemented as part of the Ukrainian-Danish Build with Ukraine initiative.

Today’s agreement is yet another strategic step that will help further deepen cooperation both between our companies and between Ukraine and Denmark,” said Volodymyr Zinovskyi, CEO of TAF Industries.

Upteko is a Danish technology company founded in 2018 that develops unmanned solutions for the maritime and industrial sectors. Its activities include developing comprehensive drone systems using technologies in the fields of UAVs, electronics, software, and hardware development.

The company collaborates with representatives from industry, government agencies, and the maritime sector to develop technological solutions tailored to the needs of specific clients.
