Pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service received special equipment from the United States partners for demining.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the equipment was delivered to the Rivne region.

There, a meeting between rescuers and the Founder of the TIP OF THE SPEAR Landmine Removal Charity Fund was held.

The Foundation is led by mine clearance specialist Ryan Hendrickson.

He handed over a large amount of equipment for pyrotechnician units.

In particular, Ukrainian rescuers received a robot to neutralize explosive devices.

Such robots are designed for remote handling and ensuring safe procedures for the disposal of explosive devices.

The unmanned vehicle is equipped with special robotic hands and cameras that help facilitate mine disposal.

Also, the transferred items included:

  • 50 kevlar helmets;
  • 30 4th class body armor;
  • 10 EOD suits;
  • 10 mine carriers, and other supplemental equipment.

This equipment will be actively used by the Rivne region specialists during the demining of the de-occupied territories in the east and south of Ukraine.

In October, Ukraine received an Armtac 400 mine clearance vehicle. It was purchased with funds raised through the UNITED24 platform.

The equipment is already assisting State Emergency Service of Ukraine personnel in the mine clearance of the liberated territories in the Kharkiv region.
