Ukrainian SOF hit a fuel and lubricants convoy at the loading dock of the Hvardiiske oil depot in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on this.
The strike aimed to disrupt the fuel and lubricants supply system for the Russian forces’ Dnepr group.
The strike was carried out by the Special Operations Forces using domestically produced FP-2 kamikaze drones.
Additionally, to reduce the enemy’s combat capabilities on the Orikhiv sector, the SOF targeted the location of a repair unit of the occupiers near the village of Hirne in the Donetsk region.
The results of the strikes are currently being clarified.
The General Staff emphasized that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are consistently continuing efforts to systematically reduce the military-economic potential and offensive capabilities of the Russian forces.
As previously reported, unmanned systems units carried out a series of strikes on 21 targets deep within the territory of the Russian Federation and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine between January 2 and 7.
Meanwhile, the UAV forces are systematically targeting enemy logistics hubs, ammunition depots, and fuel and lubricants storage facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions, as well as in occupied Crimea.
The strikes are also aimed at reducing the activity of the enemy’s aviation by progressively targeting airfields and air bases.
