The Ukrainian Defense Forces have struck warehouses storing Shahed and Gerbera drones at the Hvardiiske airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The relevant satellite images were published by the Dnipro Osint project.

According to the project, on July 18, Ukrainian drones attacked the airfield, striking hangars where Shahed and Gerbera drones were stored and serviced.

Local Telegram channels reported more than 20 strikes on the airbase.

Analysis of satellite images confirmed at least eight impacts. In one of the hangars, the detonation of warheads intended for the drones likely occurred.

This is the second time in less than a month that facilities at the airfield have been damaged. On July 2, the Security Service of Ukraine reported an attack on kamikaze drone storage facilities.

A comparison of satellite images from June 15 and June 27 with images from July 2 indicates damage to at least two hangars.

One of them has a visible hole in the roof, which may indicate a direct hit, while the other shows signs of damage to the rear wall.

In addition, numerous fire traces, several craters and other damage were recorded at the airfield, which may also have resulted from Ukrainian drone strikes.

The images from June 15 also show a significant number of Shahed and Gerber drones positioned near the hangars.
