Lieutenant Vyacheslav Parkhatsky, a UAV company commander in Russia’s 810th Marine Brigade, died in the Kursk region under unclear circumstances.

Such units typically conduct aerial reconnaissance, detect equipment and personnel, monitor troop movements, and adjust artillery fire.

The KilledInUkraine OSINT group, which tracks confirmed Russian military losses, reported that he died on March 25.

The group also cited a 2022 InformNapalm OSINT investigation, which identified Parkhatsky at the time as a serviceman of the 417th reconnaissance battalion — a gunner in the 2nd squad of the 1st platoon, 2nd reconnaissance company.

According to InformNapalm, part of the battalion’s personnel was attached to a battalion tactical group (BTG) that entered Ukraine from occupied Crimea on February 24, 2022, advancing toward Kherson.

The BTG engaged Ukrainian forces and took heavy losses near the city of Oleshky.

Last year, the I Want to Live project released a list of fallen soldiers from the 810th Separate Marine Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
