Invaders’ infantry with modern Russian tanks were neutralized near Kovalivka in the Luhansk region.
In the first half of August, the Russian command conducted offensive actions in the direction of the village of Novoiehorivka.
During the battles, the Ukrainian Defense Forces neutralized Russian infantry, destroyed armored vehicles, and stopped the invaders’ advance.
The footage of the destroyed Russians was posted by the Ukrainian military in the Telegram group Gostri Kartuzy.
“This is how the Russian offensive in the Kupiansk sector looks like. In one small field, you can see more than 10 destroyed tanks, including new T90s. There are also several armored personnel carriers and a burnt TOS-1A Solntsepyok on the same site. In addition to the burnt equipment, on the ground dozens of corpses of Russian soldiers are lying around, rotting under the sun for more than a week,” the military said.
The Ukrainian military also added that, despite the losses, the Russian military continues to hold positions in the sector.
“Along with the stench and cadaveric poison, there are dugholes with orcs in them,” the military added.
The released drone photos show one destroyed T-90M Proryv tank, three T-72B3 tanks and one BMP-3 armored vehicle.
In addition, two Russian BMP-2s were destroyed near these two previously destroyed tanks.
The battle took place between the settlements of Kovalivka and Novoiehorivka in the Luhansk region.
Now the Russian invaders have continued their offensive on the Kupiansk-Svatove line, but have not achieved significant and confirmed success.
Russia’s current local offensive efforts on the Kupiansk-Svatove line are likely to have achieved little result and are aimed at distracting Ukrainian forces from more important frontline areas and counteroffensive operations instead of capturing tactically significant areas of territory.
