Russian terrorist forces have launched an FPV drone at local residents in Zaporizhzhia, injuring four civilians.

The footage of the Russian drone was published by the blog European Zaporizhzhia.

Russian operators sent the drone to a residential building in the city’s Southern neighborhood. The head of the regional military administration said that four women were injured in the strike. They were provided with medical aid.

“The drone was flying right at us and we didn’t know what to do,” Khrystyna and Khrystyna, who were in a cafe at the time of the attack, share.

Local residents filmed the moment of the attack, which shows that the drone was fully operational and slowly approaching the house. That is, the Russian operator had every opportunity to assess the situation and purposefully used the drone against civilians.

Russia continues an organized campaign of terror against civilians in the unoccupied territories of Ukraine. Another drone attack on a residential area was recorded a day earlier in the Komunarskyi district, but the drone did not detonate.

The use of FPV copters by the Russian military against urban infrastructure and civilians started this April, when an attack copter hit a gas station.

The southern outskirts of Zaporizhzhia are only 30 kilometers from the contact line, which opens up the possibility of strikes by conventional and fiber optic drones.

However, it is more likely that attacks on civilians are carried out by attack drones from a mother drone that delivers them to the city and relays radio signals to the operator’s console.

In parallel with drone attacks, Russians have started to strike densely populated areas of Zaporizhzhia with aerial bombs, injuring four children aged 3 to 16 and killing a 69-year-old woman in April.

Also on the night of July 29, the Russian invaders attacked a penal colony in Zaporizhzhia region, killing 16 people and injuring 35 others.

As a result of the attack, the penitentiary building was destroyed, and private houses located nearby were also damaged.
