Vasyl Bodnar, Ukraine’s ambassador to Poland, said that Warsaw is currently preparing its 50th military aid package for Ukraine.

He stated this in an interview with European Pravda.

According to the diplomat, despite tensions in Polish-Ukrainian relations, military support for Ukraine continues.

“The supply of military aid to Ukraine is continuing. The 50th package is being prepared,” Bodnar said.

He also noted that Poland is participating in the PURL program, the “Coalition of the Resolute,” and the Czech ammunition initiative.

“We’re not talking about this right now because we’re currently immersed in historical discourse and the issue of how to assess Bandera. But in reality, shells paid for by the Polish side are reaching the front lines,” the ambassador emphasized.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, following the recent crash of a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile in the country, announced that the possibility of transferring additional missiles to Ukraine for its Patriot air defense systems was being considered. Earlier, it was reported that Poland had transferred five PAC-3 MSE missiles to Ukraine, capable of intercepting Russian ballistic missiles.

At the time, the country’s defense minister emphasized that the number of missiles transferred represented “the limit of our capabilities” and “does not affect Poland’s air defense capabilities.”

In late July, Poland announced that Ukraine had made a “specific proposal” regarding the transfer of MiG-29 fighter jets. In exchange for these aircraft, Poland seeks to acquire Ukrainian drone technology.

Following the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Poland provided substantial defense assistance to Ukraine. This support has included the transfer of weapons and military equipment, the establishment of logistical infrastructure for the delivery of international aid, the training of Ukrainian military personnel, and the repair and maintenance of weapons.
