On the night of June 19, operators of the 413th Unmanned Systems Regiment (‘Raid’) struck targets at the Hlibivske underground gas storage facility, located near the village of Dozorne on the Tarkhankut Peninsula in occupied Crimea.

A video of the strike was published by the press service of the 413th Regiment (‘Raid’).

Judging by the video, FP-2 middle-strike drones manufactured by the Ukrainian company Fire Point were used in the attack.

As noted by the unit, the gas storage facility’s ground structures sustained critical damage. A fire broke out at the facility, as confirmed by data from NASA’s FIRMS satellite monitoring service.

The damage is also confirmed by low-resolution satellite images, which show significant destruction, likely to the gas storage facility’s pumping station.

The Hlibivske underground storage facility is the only gas storage facility in Crimea. Its purpose is to rapidly release large volumes of gas during cold spells or daily consumption peaks. The normal operation of the UGS facility is critically important for the power grid of occupied Crimea, as all major thermal and power plants on the peninsula rely on natural gas as their primary fuel. In turn, Russian military facilities on the peninsula depend on the reliability of the electricity supply from these thermal power plants.

This was part of a comprehensive campaign to disrupt Russian logistics in the southern sector.

In addition to the gas storage facility, on the night of June 18–19, drones also struck railway bridges in the areas of Rozdolne and Vladyslavivka in Crimea.
