Poroshenko transfers Ai-Petri SV systems to Ukrainian defenders

The Poroshenko Foundation has transferred nine Ai-Petri systems to several Ukrainian brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The MP shared that these stations have proven to protect the military from enemy reconnaissance drones.

“In just one week, we handed over nine new Ai-Petri systems. On Friday, we transferred two at the frontline. Today, in Kyiv, we are transferring seven more, along with a Poseidon UAV,” Poroshenko said.

The new electronic equipment was delivered to the 104th Territorial Defense Brigade in Rivne, the 111th Battalion of the 110th Territorial Defense Brigade, paratroopers of the 81st Airmobile Brigade, and several other military units. Their operators have been trained and are ready to use the system in the field.

The Foundation reported that each Ai-Petri system comes with a pickup truck equipped with a dome electronic warfare station to protect against drones or just the station itself if the unit already has vehicles.

The Poseidon reconnaissance drone was handed over to the operators of the unmanned systems of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade.

According to the developers, the Ai-Petri SV is capable of detecting the position of a Russian UAV operator, disorienting drones, and even interfering with the operation of Russian guided bombs.

The system consists of an electronic warfare station, a modern radar station, and a counter-drone device.

The four Ai-Petri systems are being delivered with off-road vehicles, electronic warfare systems, Starlink terminals, and charging stations.

A year ago, Petro Poroshenko announced an investment of UAH 150 million in developing the latest system for countering technical intelligence, Ai-Petri SV. The project is now rapidly scaling up, and the investment amount has already exceeded UAH 200 million.

It is stated that they have been successfully tested and are already in use in the Armed Forces, covering a thousand kilometers of the front line.

Earlier this month, Petro Poroshenko transferred four more Ai-Petri SV EW systems for countering technical intelligence means to the military.
