Poroshenko Hands Over Ai-Petri Systems to Ukrainian Defenders

Petro Poroshenko handed over four more Ai-Petri SV EW systems for countering technical intelligence means to the military.

The MP said that the Ai-Petri system has proven itself in protecting our military from enemy reconnaissance drones.

“We are doing everything to increase their production,” Poroshenko said.

The systems are also said to protect the military from corrected aerial bombs in all regions of Ukraine where hostilities are ongoing.

“The Ai-Petri system provides counteraction to the enemy’s technical intelligence even outside our country,” Poroshenko said.

According to the developers, the Ai-Petri SV is capable of detecting the position of a Russian UAV operator, disorienting drones, and even interfering with the operation of Russian guided bombs.

The system consists of an electronic warfare station, a modern radar station, and an anti-drone device.

The four Ai-Petri systems are being delivered with off-road vehicles, electronic warfare systems, Starlink terminals and charging stations.

“This is all that is needed for the operators who will work on them. Our job is to provide the equipment. And we have done that,” said the MP.

A year ago, Petro Poroshenko announced the investment of UAH 150 million in the development of the latest system for countering technical intelligence, Ai-Petri SV. The project is now rapidly scaling up, and the amount of investment has already exceeded UAH 200 million.

It is stated that they have been successfully tested and are already in use in the Armed Forces, covering a thousand kilometers of the front line.

In November, Petro Poroshenko handed over three Ai-Petri SV systems for countering technical intelligence to one of the units of the military command South.
