Poland will test its own military equipment, including drones, on the Ukrainian front to gain real combat experience.

Polish Deputy Minister of Defense Cezary Tomczyk announced this in an interview with the PAP news agency, as reported by Defence24.

According to him, Polish weapons must undergo testing in combat conditions after completing trials at testing grounds in Poland.

A second area of focus will be the active exchange of technologies and the strengthening of both countries’ industrial potential.

Tomczyk cited WB Electronics as an example of successful cooperation with Ukraine, but called for a significant expansion of joint activities to create a technological advantage.

Recently, Poland and Ukraine announced a joint project to create a so-called drone armada, which is intended to combine Polish funding with Ukrainian expertise.

They also plan to involve the European Defense Fund in the project.
