One against ten: defending his position and waiting for reinforcements

One soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces held back a group of ten invaders who were storming Ukrainian positions.

The Ukrainian soldier came out of the battle alive, and the Russians were eliminated.

The press service of the 8th Battalion of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade ‘Edelweiss’ of the Armed Forces released the video of the battle.

The brigade noted that this combat engagement with the invaders occurred in December 2023.

The video captures how a group of Russian intruders entered Ukrainian positions and tried to approach a trench where a Ukrainian soldier was standing alone and holding the line.

The footage features the Ukrainian warrior throwing grenades at the invaders and shelling them with an assault rifle.

The Ukrainian military managed to intercept the enemy’s radio communications during this battle.

The enemy commander was hysterically telling the stormtroopers how to enter the Ukrainian position, which only one soldier held.

At the same time, he could not comprehend how so many invaders failed to capture the position with one Ukrainian soldier.

The Edelweiss Brigade reported that the battle ended with dead and wounded invaders, who were methodically destroyed by Ukrainian artillery and drones.

“Our soldier survived unharmed. He forced what was left of the enemy to flee, defending his position and waiting for reinforcements,” the battalion command summarized.

Previously, the Come Back Alive Foundation, together with Ukrnafta, transferred a batch of FPV drones, quadcopters, and UCAVs to the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
