President Volodymyr Zelensky has enacted a National Security and Defense Council decision introducing sanctions against Russian citizens and companies.

The restrictions target entities that support the Russian defense industry or attempt to evade previously imposed measures, according to the presidential website.

The lists include companies supplying components for Iskander, Topol, and Yars missile systems, as well as for S-300 and S-400 air defense systems. Individuals involved in attempts to lift U.S. sanctions on Russia and soften the European Union’s position are also included.

Ukraine has extended sanctions on 13 individuals and 21 legal entities previously targeted in 2023. Four companies from the earlier package have ceased their activities.

Particular attention was given to individuals linked to VS Group Management LLC, including Irina Babakova, Natalia Selivanova, and Vadim Giner, associated with a structure created by Alexander Babakov, Mikhail Voevodin, and Yevgeny Giner.

The new list includes 32 Russian companies and 34 executives who manage them. They are involved in producing radio reconnaissance systems, rocket fuel, gunpowder, and high-precision industrial equipment in violation of international restrictions.

Ukraine is preparing to share the information with partners to align sanctions across international jurisdictions.
