MANDRILL and Zetros Unmanned Trucks to Be Delivered to the Ukrainian National Guard

Quantum Systems will supply Ukraine with MANDRILL and Zetros unmanned trucks for testing in frontline conditions.

The multi-million contract was signed in Kyiv, the company told Militarnyi.

The program calls for the delivery of 10 autonomous Daimler Truck Zetros AI trucks equipped with the Ground Autonomy Kit. The company will also supply 10 MANDRILL unmanned ground platforms.

“The first vehicles will be delivered by the end of the year,” the company shared with Militarnyi.

The vehicles will be transferred to units of the Ukrainian National Guard for operation in real-world conditions.

Daimler Truck is an official partner of the program and is collaborating with Quantum Systems on a project to integrate autonomous driving systems onto the Zetros platform.

The MOSAIC Ground Autonomy Kit enables unmanned and remotely controlled operation of logistics vehicles through a modular, software-defined architecture. Built on the open MOSAIC UXS ecosystem, it supports autonomous deliveries, convoy operations, and multi-domain missions by integrating ground vehicles with other unmanned systems into a single, interoperable operational network.

Daniel Zittel, Sales Director at Daimler Truck Defense, noted:

The program expands Quantum Systems’ presence in Ukraine and strengthens the company’s strategy of creating interoperable autonomous systems for air and ground applications.
