Two Turkish nationals have been arrested in Germany on suspicion of setting fire to a Starlink ground station near Warsaw.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk described the incident as another act of hybrid warfare. In a post on the social media platform X, he said those responsible for the sabotage would face trial in a Polish court.
At a joint press conference held by the Ministry of the Interior and the Internal Security Agency, Minister-Coordinator of Special Services Tomasz Siemoniak directly accused Russia of being behind the arson attack.
“We have no doubt that Russian intelligence services were behind this act of sabotage. They are increasingly recruiting people with criminal connections to carry out such operations. Poland has an excellent police force and Internal SecurityAgency officers who can effectively investigate and solve these cases,” he said.
Poland remains one of the main transit routes for Western military aid to Ukraine.
In recent months, Poland has experienced a series of suspected acts of sabotage and cyberattacks targeting critical infrastructure, including water supply systems, energy facilities and hospitals.
Polish authorities have also linked damage to a railway line between Warsaw and the Ukrainian border to Russian intelligence services. In late July, a Russian Kh-101 missile manufactured in 2026 crashed on Polish territory.
