During the Bastille Day parade on July 14, two Mirage 2000 fighter jets with Franco-Ukrainian crews will fly over Paris.

Le Figaro reports on this.

The aircraft will appear in the air following the Patrouille de France aerobatic team. One of the Mirage 2000 fighter jets will be painted in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

The flyover is intended as a demonstration of France’s solidarity with Ukraine.

As of February 2026, three Ukrainian pilots were undergoing training in France to operate Mirage 2000-5F fighter jets.

The pilots are expected to fly aircraft from the new deliveries announced by France. In January 2026, as Militarnyi reported, Ukraine was expected to receive two Mirage 2000 fighter jets from France as military aid by the end of the first quarter of 2026.

France announced plans to transfer Mirage 2000 fighters to Ukraine in June 2024. The first aircraft arrived in Ukraine in February 2025, with subsequent deliveries made in additional batches.
