Drones of the Security Service of Ukraine hit 8 different air defense systems of the Russian invaders.

The SSU said that the TOR-M2, Pantsir-S1 and BUK systems had been hit.

UAVs, capable of long-range strikes, were used to carry out the attack.

Presumably, the drones are equipped with a targeting system that allows the drone to hit the target more accurately.

Machine vision also allows drones to navigate and avoid obstacles.

Special Forces adjusted the strikes with the help of a reconnaissance drone that tracked the movement of Russian air defense systems.

The SSU said that the UAV operators had managed to hit four systems of the TOR-M2 SAM system.

Three systems of the Pantsir-S1 air defense missile-gun system and one BUK launcher also came under attack.

“Soldiers of the SSU are destroying Russian air defense systems. You can see the skill of our soldiers in the video,” the SSU said.

The video shows the drones operating freely in the conditions of a large number of Russian electronic warfare systems on the front line, which are supposed to jam the signal between the operator and the drone.

The destruction of such systems should enhance the capabilities of Ukrainian aircraft, which will be safer to fly into the occupied territories. These systems have also been used to shoot down GMLRS missiles from the HIMARS rocket launcher.

As previously reported, the new Ukrainian Bulava loitering munition, which is designed to destroy precisely such air defense systems, was presented for the first time at the Eurosatory 2024 international exhibition in Paris.
