Drones Attack Two Oil Depots in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, Sparking Fires

During the night of September 28, drones attacked the Pavlivska oil depot, operated by LLC NFB-Pavlovskaya, and the Edelweiss-95 oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai.

The Exilenova+ outlet published footage of the fire at the facility.

At 11:43 p.m., a drone alert was declared in the region, after which local residents began reporting drones in the sky.

As a result of the attack, fires broke out at both oil depots.

The facilities handle cargo operations involving petroleum products, including wholesale trade in motor fuel and storage of petroleum products.

According to data from NASA FIRMS, a monitoring service, the fire at the site was detected at 4:24 a.m.

According to intermediary platforms, the depot handles Euro-5 diesel fuel, AI-92, AI-95, AI-98, and AI-100 gasoline, as well as light heating oil.

The Edelweiss-95 depot serves a similar purpose and specializes in the wholesale trade of petroleum products. It has a storage capacity of 4,500 cubic meters.

The facility supplies Euro-5 diesel fuel and AI-92, AI-95, and AI-100 gasoline on a wholesale basis. The depot also has its own railway spur for receiving and loading fuel.

A fire was detected at this oil depot at around the same time. This may indicate that both targets were hit before 4:24 a.m.

Militarnyi previously reported that on the morning of September 25, Ukrainian drones again attacked the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery in Perm, Russia.

Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez has a designed processing capacity of approximately 13 million tonnes of crude oil per year and is Russia’s seventh-largest oil refinery by processing volume.
