Ukrainian drones attacked Ozon’s largest logistics facility in Russia, located in Orenburg, the Orenburg region.
The moment of the strike was captured on video and published by the Exilenova+ Telegram channel.
A fire broke out at the facility following the attack.
Ozon’s logistics facility in Orenburg covers more than 200,000 square meters.
Based on videos and photos from the scene shared by eyewitnesses, the fire appears to be localized. However, the extent of the damage is currently unknown.
According to Militarnyi’s GEOINT analysis, the strike site is located at coordinates 51.8599, 55.1744.
Ozon’s logistics facility in Orenburg is located within the Orenburg Special Economic Zone. The first phase of the fulfillment center, covering 40,000 square meters, was launched on August 21, 2024.
The company planned to expand the facility with a second phase, which would enable it to store more than 31 million items and process up to 915,000 orders per day.
In 2025, construction of the facility’s second building was completed. The warehouse features a multi-level design: four- and five-tier storage platforms allow the facility, with an area of about 80,000 square meters, to provide up to 200,000 square meters of space for storing and moving goods.
This is the second Ozon logistics facility to be targeted by Ukrainian drones in recent days. On the morning of August 22, a company warehouse in Chapayevsk, the Samara region, came under attack.
The Chapayevsk facility covers 135,000 square meters and was opened in late October 2022.
The facility is located near the Chapayevskiy Mechanical plant and Promsyntеz. The Chapayevskiy Mechanical plant produces industrial explosives, while Promsyntеz manufactures explosives and components used in ammunition.
