At least nine passenger trains are currently known to be delayed.
Meanwhile, the Ukraine context|Russia no context Telegram channel published a photo showing a railway platform with a burning truck, likely a military vehicle.
It is claimed that the photo was taken at a key railway station in the Russian city of Salsk.
This may indicate that the target of the drone strike was a military train of the Russian occupation forces moving toward the Ukrainian border.
In the morning, the defense ministry of the aggressor state claimed that its air defense allegedly shot down 22 drones overnight over the territory of the Rostov region.
On the night of July 27, strike drones attacked a railway power substation in Russia’s Volgograd Region, which is part of the country’s military logistics network. As a result, a section of the railway running through Zhutovo station near the settlement of Oktyabrsky was left without power.
