Poland will build a new plant for the production of 155 mm artillery shells, which will be located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
This was announced following the signing of an investment agreement and a shareholders’ agreement between Prime Alternatywną Spółka Inwestycyjną, Grupa Kapitałowa Valeza, and Armaments Munition Company Global Group (AMC), according to Defence24.
The collaboration will result in the creation of a joint venture called AMC Polish Arsenal.
The future defense facility will be built in the municipality of Słupia Końska, and the project itself has been named ‘The Stables.’ Once operational, the plant is expected to have the capacity to produce up to 160,000 M107 shells annually.
Armaments Munition Company Global Group (AMC) will oversee the industrial and technological processes for the project; over the past year, the company has expanded its network of suppliers and established contacts with customers. The company has already secured the purchase of land plots totaling more than 12 hectares.
For its part, Grupa Kapitałowa Valeza will be responsible for developing international relations, organizing the sales system, and providing general business support.
To secure funding for its defense operations, Prime ASI is simultaneously conducting a private share offering worth up to 25 million zlotys (approximately €5.8 million). A significant portion of the funds raised is planned to be directed toward financing the newly established company AMC Polish Arsenal.
