The Come Back Alive Foundation donated 5,400 middle-range strike drones to the Security Service of Ukraine’s Special Operations Center “A.”
This was announced on the foundation’s social media accounts.
The drones are designed to destroy Russian occupiers’ targets and equipment at operational ranges of 30 to 300 km.
They can target logistics facilities, command posts, fuel and ammunition depots, artillery systems, and air defense systems.
“And they (the drones—Ed.) are in the hands of those who, for five months in a row, have stayed ahead of all units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the number of enemy targets destroyed,” Come Back Alive Foundation.
The foundation shared that in July alone, special forces from the Special Operations Center “A” destroyed more than 500 UAV crews, over 200 warehouses, and 54 artillery systems and self-propelled artillery units belonging to the Russian invaders.
The foundation added that, in addition to middle strike drones, the special forces received pickup trucks and 123 heavy bombers from the foundation. Come Back Alive Foundation promised to continue supporting the Center’s fighters.
Recently, fighters from Special Operations Unit “A” used small FPV drones to destroy a Russian Shahed kamikaze jet drone on its launcher at Donetsk Airport.
Destroying the launch systems for long-range UAVs is one of the most effective ways to counter Russian air attacks.
