Armed Forces of Ukraine grasped Russian Tor-M1 air defense system in Kharkiv Region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine captured the Russian Tor-M1 air defense missile system.

Ukranian soldier Serhii Filimonov released the video featuring the trophy vehicle on his Telegram channel.

According to the serviceman, the missile system was captured by the Ukrainian troops on the eastern outskirts of Balakliia.

According to the OSINT portal ORYX, the Russians have already confirmed the loss of 18 Tor missile systems of various modifications.

The Tor missile system is an all-weather low to medium altitude, short-range surface-to-air missile system designed for destroying airplanes, helicopters, cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and short-range ballistic threats.

Tor-M1 air defense system is a modification that was adopted in service in 1991.
