A local oil depot is on fire in the Russian-occupied city of Donetsk.

Video footage and photos featuring the fire at an oil depot in the occupied city have been published online.

It is reported that on the night of Friday, April 29, the fire started at the oil depot in temporarily occupied Donetsk.

According to social media reports, the fire occurred in the Kirov district of the city.

Footage released online shows flames behind the houses and a column of thick black smoke, clearly visible from many parts of the city, rising into the sky.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, yet the Russian invaders are already blaming Ukraine.

In the Russian propaganda channels in the Telegram, they claim that the fire was allegedly caused by “shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”

No casualties have been reported so far, and attempts to put out the fire are ongoing.

On April 25, a fire occurred at an oil depot in the Russian city of Bryansk. Two oil storage depots were on fire.

On April 27, a fire started at an ammunition depot in Russia’s Belgorod region.
