The Polish Striker strike drone, with a flight range of up to 1,000 km, was tested near Kyiv.
FlyFocus CEO Igor Skawiński and the company’s Chief Operating Officer Albert Swierczyński announced this in an interview with Kanał Telewizyjny.
“The drone was tested at a training ground near Kyiv, and it received positive feedback from Ukrainian operators,” FlyFocus reported.
The Striker is a Deep Strike-class unmanned aerial vehicle with a maximum takeoff weight of 140 kg and is equipped with a small piston engine or, optionally, a jet engine.
The drone can carry a 40- or 60-kg warhead—either high-explosive fragmentation or thermobaric.
With a 40-kg warhead, the Striker has a range of up to 1,000 km, and the piston-engine version reaches speeds of 90 to 180 km/h.
A jet-powered variant is also available, capable of reaching speeds of up to 325 km/h. Its speed ranges from 95 to 325 km/h.
“When we specify the technical characteristics of our solutions, they are all confirmed by testing,” FlyFocus noted.
Target acquisition can be performed in two modes: using pre-set coordinates or via a self-guiding video head with a satellite data transmission channel.
Communication with the drone is encrypted, and the Striker is launched from a pneumatic launcher.
In addition, the Striker can be used as a reconnaissance drone or an aerial target.
This year, FlyFocus also presented the KURIER unmanned helicopter designed to support special forces.
